Saturday 13th April 2024, I was teaching Ryōi Shintō-ryū Jūjutsu (良移心当流柔術) on the Nippon Jūjutsu Kobudō Renmei (日本柔術古武道連盟) Spring Seminar in Oldham, Greater Manchester, U.K.

As with previous events this was a mix of Koryū (古流) and Gendai (現代) styles. Once again, it was a pleasure to work with my friends and fellow instructors, Kirby Watson (Kaze Arashi ryū Jūjutsu) and Keith Morgan (Shin Gi Tai Aiki Jūjutsu). Unfortunately, Andy McCormack (Motoha-ha Yoshin-ryū Jūjutsu) was unable to make it this year. He was missed, but hopefully will be back for our next seminar

It was also great to see so many familiar faces and I commend everyone who attend for their great work, enthusiasm and spirit of friendship.

Many thanks to Gary Osbaldeston for organising this successful event and to Monika Mansell for taking the excellent photographs.
