Especially, for the people who attended the recent Ryōi Shintō-ryū Jūjutsu (良移心当流 柔術) course in Kemsing, Kent - please note the position of Shortt Sensei's left hand, as his (thumb side) wrist traps the opponent's gripping hand at the wrist.

He then rotates around that point, as he moves forward to check the opponent's left punching hand by striking into the shoulder / collar bone with his right open hand.
