It was a pleasure to teach on the 'Nihon Jūjutsu Kobudō Renmei (日本柔術古武道連盟) Spring Seminar', held in Oldham, Greater Manchester, U.K. on Sunday 18th March 2023. It was also great opportunity to work and interact with fellow teachers:

• Ken Culshaw 9th Dan Hanshi - Wellham Martial Arts
• Keith Morgan 9th Dan Hanshi - Shin Gi tai Aiki Jūjutsu
• Andy McCormack 7th Dan Kyōshi - Menkyo Kaiden Motoha Yoshin-ryū Jūjutsu

and also students from various styles of both Koryū (古流) and Gendai (現代) Jūjutsu.

My congratulations to Archie Higgins, who received Hachidan (ハ段 - 8th Dan) in Jūjutsu from the Nihon Jūjutsu Kobudō Renmei (NJJKR).
Many thanks to; my fellow teachers, for their friendship and sharing, to the participants for their enthusiasm and hard work, to David Heslington for being such an excellent Uke and to Monika Mansell for the superb photographs, and last but not least to Gary Osbaldeston of the NJJKR, for organising such a successful event.

We hope that there will be a follow-up Autumn event with a similar format.
