During this first French 'Kyūsho-jutsu' (急所術 vital points) seminar, we started with an introduction to the subject of Kyūsho-jutsu and then worked with the vital points 

• head
• face
• neck

We examined the

• Anatomical locations,
• Anatomical structures
• Neurological effects
• Medical implication

We looked at the:

Methods, directions and amplitude of striking and applying pressure to these points in

• Standing (Tachi-waza - 立技) against strikes and grips
• Kneeling (Suwari-waza - 座り技)
• Grappling, pinning (Newaza 寝技)

This training was supported by an accompanying powerpoint presentation (containing 69 slides), which allowed participants to see in detail the positions, anatomical and neurological structures involved, together with details of the effects and medical implications of each point.
