Our latest Ryōi Shintō-ryū seminar was held in Kemsing in Kent on Sunday, 10th September 2023 and shared online with our Canadian Shibu Dōjō (支部道場).

We worked through the following:

Kyūsho (急所) points and the Kenpō (拳法) / Ate no hō (当ノ法) methods that make these attacks against Kyūsho targets possible.

We worked on applications of these methods to targets in the chest, arms and hands, including in Mutō-dori (無刀捕).

We paid particular attention to the anatomical features that make these points vulnerable and the potential medical implications of attacking them.
