Uke takes a crossed grip (i.e., right on right, or left on left) on tori’s wrist. Tori sidesteps, places his free hand on the opponent's back uke's of gripping hand.
Tori then opens the fingers of the trapped hand untill they form an edge, which is placed against the outer side of uke's wrist.
This turns uke’s wrist inwards. Tori then extends the fingers of his gripping hand grip the opponent's wrist and pulls his wrist sharply down towards the ground. This downward movement travels parallel to his body.
