The Ryōi Shintōkai (良移心当会) is pleased to be associated with the Kodō Butoku Renmei (古道武徳連盟 Old ways Martial Virtue Society).

This organisation was founded in 2002, as modern thinking group based on the traditional values of Japan and Okinawa's martial arts traditions.The Kodō Butoku Renmei was the brainchild of Stephen Grayston, who serves as Kanchō (会長 President) and is assisted by the Shihankai (師範会 a board of senior teachers).

In a progressive move, potential political problems were negated in 2007, when individual membership was abolished thus removing the temptations of financial gain.

The organisation runs an outstanding bi-annual international event - the Kodōsai (古道祭) and a Gasshuku (合宿) in the USA on alternative years, plus occasional Taikais (大合) in Italy and other countries.The last Kodōsai event, which was held in 2019, was attended by 300 international participants.
